I had the most wonderful stay at Manoir De La Grand'Cour Bed & Breakfast in Soulge-sur-Ouette. the beautifully restored building was simply breathtaking, and my room was cozy and comfortable with a lovely bathroom. the owner, Monique, was incredibly kind and accommodating, making sure that everything was perfect for my stay. the breakfast spread was absolutely delicious, with fresh bread, croissants, homemade jams, and a variety of other treats. I truly felt at home in this charming B&B and would love to visit again in the future. Cons: For us, it was ideal! 👌.

The rooms were super clean and comfy, and the whole place had a cool, historic vibe. We loved exploring the nearby hiking trails, they were so beautiful and perfect for taking cool pics. We also checked out the temple and the Roman theatre, which were such cool spots to hang out and have fun. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh pastries and all. We had the best time ever!
Just one small thing we would've loved - more options for young party animals like us. It would've been awesome if there were some cool bars or clubs nearby where we could have a blast at night.

Oh, what a beautiful place Manoir De La Grand'Cour was! From the moment I entered the stunning tower, I knew I was in for a special experience. The whole property had such a lovely, classic charm that instantly transported me back in time. I especially loved the cozy sitting area downstairs, with its warm lighting and comfortable seating. It was perfect for relaxing with a cup of tea and a good book. And let me tell you, my dear, the ambiance throughout was just perfect for us seniors.
If I could ask for one thing to make our vacation even better, it would be to have more dining options nearby. Although the delightful staff ensured the little shop across the square had a selection of foods for a light meal, it would have been lovely to have a wider variety of restaurants within walking distance.

I discovered the exceptional know-how of The manufacture of "Toiles de Mayenne" and its quality finished product. The medieval castle of Lassay with its massive towers and drawbridge was a sight to behold. I also visited a beautiful village with a breathtaking panorama.
Oh, and I thoroughly enjoyed the sliding door that led to a bathroom with green and white "metro" tiles. Not.

Quaint Room: The guest rooms at Manoir De La Grand'Cour are like stepping into a charming little time capsule. Modern Amenities: Despite their old-fashioned charm, the rooms are equipped with all the modern comforts like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Comfy Beds: The cozy beds make you feel right at home, ensuring a good night's sleep after a long day of trekking.
Single Electrical Outlet: But, I have to admit that I wished there were more electrical outlets in the room. It's just my perspective, though.

We stayed at a beautiful 17th-century manor in Soulge-sur-Ouette, and it was a very pleasant experience. Monique, one of the owners, contacted us beforehand to ensure a smooth check-in and ask about our breakfast preferences. The rooms were newly renovated, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. As a family of 5, we booked all 3 rooms, which provided ample space for everyone, and the rooms could be connected for extra convenience. The gated backyard had a small playground, perfect for our children. Breakfast was abundant and delicious, with fresh pastries, homemade jam, and more. Monique was a wonderfully welcoming host, and we hope to return in the future.
My children wanted more nearby restaurant options.

The guest rooms at Manoir De La Grand'Cour are like a dream come true! They perfectly blend old-fashioned charm and modernity, giving you the best of both worlds. I felt like a queen in a fairytale castle.
The karaoke machine in the room wasn't really my thing, but I understand some people might enjoy it.

The building was beautifully restored and felt like a temporary home, not just a B&B. the rooms were spacious and very clean. the breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot options and delicious French pastries. the location was also wonderful, with plenty to explore nearby.
The mattress was uncomfortably hard and the pillows were more like cushions and not very comfortable. the duvet was too hot for the summer.
